Index for May family gravestones At the 2006 May Family Reunion it was decided that a new stone will be placed on these graves. In August 2007, thanks to the generosity of 29 descendants from 9 different states  and the efforts of Earl Edsel Moore, this project was completed. A total of $1665 was donated and $1489 was spent on the project. The balance of $176 was donated to Friends of the Samuel May House in Prestonsburg, KY The original stones were left undisturbed.
