Interior Brick Wall
This photo shows the condition of the interior brick walls before they were parged with cement. As you can see, the mortar in these walls was dry and crumbling. Something had to be done, so Jack Kauble decided to parge the walls. I would like to emphasize that Contractor Kauble performed this work notwithstanding the fact that it wasn`t included in the original contract. In this and other instances, Kauble proved that he was a man dedicated to his work. The walls were too badly deteriorated for drywall to be mounted against them, so Kauble decided to install two-by-four studs, laying them flat against the wall to conserve space. This work also wasn`t budgeted.
