| This photo shows Allie May, wife of E. B. May, Jr., signing the lease conveying the May House to the City of Prestonsburg. The man in the blue jacket is E. B. May. John Rosenberg is on the right. The main event of the May House Dedication was the signing of the lease. The lease was later replaced by a deed of conveyance. Today the May House is the property of the City of Prestonsburg. The dedication ceremony also included the signing of a contract making the Friends of the Samuel May House responsible for managing the property.
