| In August, 1997, the families of John May, Jean May Lambeth, and Jean Ann Kinsey visited the May House. All three are descendants of Col. A.J. May. Jean is the woman in dark glasses. Her brother is behind her, and Jean Kinsey is third from left. John, Jean May and Jean Ann are all members in good standing of the Friends of the Samuel May House, Inc. Jean and Woody Lambeth live in Brevard, North Carolina. Jean and Roy Kinsey live in Salem, Virginia. Good to see you, friends! Robert Perry`s biography of Colonel May, `Jack May`s War,` is being published by Overmountain Press of Johnson City, Tennessee. It will be out sometime later this fall. |
