Minutes of the Board
of Trustees October 3, 2006 Those present: Don R. Johnson, Patricia A. Johnson, Sam D. Hatcher, Delmas Saunders, and Garnett Fairchild. Mr. Hatcher called the meeting to order at approximately 7:00 PM with five members being present. He stated that the Minutes of the meeting in July had been sent out to everyone with email and mailed to others. He asked for any corrections; there being none, the Minutes will stand approved as presented. In the absence of David Hereford, Mr. Hatcher gave the Treasurer's Report which David had sent to Mr. Hatcher and Mrs. Johnson. The general fund showed a balance of $3,268.00 with the only major expenses being work that had to be done on the house and the alarm system. Mr. Hatcher stated that he had around $680.00 that he had not sent to Mr. Hereford for deposit. He had sold books and CDs at the May Family Reunion held the weekend of September 16 & 17. With the unmade deposit, our balance would be approximately $3,800.00. With no other corrections, the report would stand as presented. Mr. Hatcher stated that at our meeting in November, we would need to talk about and plan for Old Christmas. The November meeting will be on Tuesday, November 28th. He asks that all who can, please try to come so plans can be made. He also stated that Jean Rosenberg has asked him to let everyone know that on Sunday, October 8th, there will be a 75th birthday celebration at the Prestonsburg Science Center for her husband John, who is also a Board member. All Board members are invited to attend and she asks that no one bring presents. With no further business, the meeting adjourned at approximately 8:00 PM. Respectively submitted by: Patricia A.
