Minutes of the Board of Trustees March 27, 2001 ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING * Final approval of these minutes was made at the 2002 Annual Membership Meeting * PRESENT: Lillian Baldridge, Garnett Fairchild, Sam Hatcher, Don Johnson, Bill May, Jim Spencer, Jean H. Burke, Alice Howard, Patricia Johnson, Dorothy Rose Osborne, and Jimmy D. Reed. Meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m. Minutes of the March 28, 2000 Annual Membership Meeting were presented. Don Johnson moved to accept the minutes as presented, second Jim Spencer. Motion carried. Treasurer's report was presented for the information of the
members. Don Johnson moved, Jim Spencer second, to accept the
Treasurer's Report; Don Johnson moved, Marshal Davidson second, to increase the number of Trustees to 19. Motion carried. Upon motion by Don Johnson, second by Marshal Davidson, the following members were nominated for Trustee: Betsy Lambert, Lillian Baldridge, Mable Lineberger, Patricia Johnson and Jimmy D. Reed are new nominees to the Board of Trustees, Lillian Baldridge moved, second Jim Spencer, that nominations cease and the above nominees be elected to the Board of Trustees. Motion carried. One vote was cast for each of the above nominees. Don Johnson nominated, second by Marshal Davidson, Garnett Fairchild as Vice President. Don Johnson moved, second Marshal Davidson, that nominations cease and that Garnett Fairchild be elected Vice President. Motion carried. One vote was cast for Garnett Fairchild as Vice President. Don Johnson nominated, second by Marshal Davidson, David Hereford as Treasurer. Don Johnson moved, second Marshal Davidson, that nominations cease and that David Hereford be elected Treasurer. Motion carried. One vote was cast for David Hereford as Treasurer. Jim Spencer nominated, second by Marshal Davidson, Patricia Johnson as Secretary. Jim Spencer moved, second Marshal Davidson, that nominations cease and that Patricia Johnson be elected Secretary. Motion carried. One vote was cast for Patricia Johnson as Secretary. There was a general discussion of the status of the Samuel May House. Meeting adjourned. |
