Alte Rathaus & Evangelische Kirche

Alsenz Coat of Arms

The Alte Rathaus, historic town hall, located in the center of the Alsenz. Early documents show that the village existed as early as 755 A.D.

By the end of the 14th Century, the Catholic Parish was served by the Order of St. John from Mainz. In 1533 the church officially embraced the doctrines of Martin Luther.
