This photo shows a beautiful maple drop-leaf table which once belonged to Colonel Andrew Jackson May. It was donated to the Friends of the Samuel May House by Jean and Roy Kinsey of Salem, Virginia. Jean is one of Colonel May`s descendants. Although key pieces of furniture will be displayed in the house, the rooms will remain relatively empty, allowing visitors to move freely through the house. A high priority will be placed on May family heirlooms, like this one.
