| On March 15th, 1995, Governor Brereton Jones came to Prestonsburg and announced that the City of Prestonsburg had been awarded a $200,000 ISTEA grant to restore the May House. The grant was subsequently increased to $400,000. From left to right are Greg Stumbo, Robert Perry, Mayor Jerry Fannin, and Governor Jones. Sheriff Paul Hunt Thompson is on the right.
