At the 2006 May Family Reunion it was decided that
two new stones will be placed on these graves.

Through generous donations from 27 descendants of Thomas & Dorcas Patton May from 14 states, two new stones are now placed beside the original stone. It is interesting to note that these cousins from states spanning the United States from coast to coast are descended from nine of the thirteen children in this May family line.

In addition to placing the new stones, we had the original stone cleaned. Click here to see more photos.

It was agreed at the reunion that after this project was completed, any remaining funds would be donated to Friends of the Samuel May House.
