Notes on Tress submitting her manuscript to the Kentucky Historical Society in 1956 Tress compiled and wrote 500+ pages of family history over a period of 25 years before she submitted the manuscript to the Kentucky Historical Society in 1956. The major branches of the May family in the book are those descended from John & Sarah May's children; Samuel, Thomas and Reuben May. The book is in a .pdf file on the CD that can easily be viewed with an Adobe Reader. A copy of the reader is available on the CD if one is not already installed on your computer.
