PORTAL Between buildings A & B Return to What's New The orginal plans for renovating Double Eagle included a "Porte Cochere" [a porch large enough for a carriage to pass through] connecting the two buildings as shown below. The latest design of the building has retained the existing roof lines but has a portal design with a gable roof. It was agreed at the recent owners meeting that the roof for this structure [and other remaining roofs on the property] would be covered with cedar shakes.
